As you might image from a town founded in 1729, there is plenty of interesting historical sites to explore here, as well as modern attractions like shopping, restaurants, museums and more.
Whether you’re exploring downtown and the bustling area along Front Street or strolling along the Georgetown Harborwalk to enjoy gorgeous waterfront views, you’re sure to enjoy you’re time here.

And it’s all within a short drive — Georgetown is about 15 minutes south of Pawleys and just 45-50 minutes south of Myrtle Beach. A great place for a day trip that will leave you far from the hustle and bustle of tourists at the beach.
