Cafe owner Ernest Brunson may not have been part of the Thomas Cafe since the beginning, but this experienced chef has stayed loyal to the menu items at this restaurant, and has also added a few of his own signature dishes.

For breakfast, guests at Thomas Cafe will find a variety of favorites, including omelets, pancakes, French toast, breakfast sandwiches, and the Low Country Specials featuring the Low Country Creole Omelet (3 eggs, shrimp, crab, cheddar cheese, and creole sauce served over grits or home fries and with toast or a biscuit); the Harborwalk Bagel Sandwich (toasted Benjamin bagel with 3 eggs, 2 cheeses, and 4 slices of crispy bacon); and the Prince George (2 eggs with choice of bacon, link, or patty sausage, served with grits or home fries, and toast or a biscuit, along with 3 silver dollar pancakes).

Guests can start off their lunch with an appetizer such as Fried Green Tomatoes, Onion Rings, Home Fries, Fried Pickles, or Low Country Gumbo before moving on to a Cafe Specialty, Sandwich, or Salad. 

Cafe Specialties at Thomas Cafe include Shrimp & Grits, Chicken Fingers, Fried Shrimp Basket, Fried Flounder Basket, a Fried Shrimp & Flounder Combo Basket, and Low Country Gumbo.

The sandwich menu features the Front Street Reuben, Loaded Philly Cheesesteak, Chicken Cheesesteak, All American Burger, Inlet Crab Cake Sandwich, Georgetown Club, Chicken Club, Chicken Sandwich, Fish Sandwich, the Ultimate BLT, Chicken Salad Sandwich, and the Palmetto BLT (Pawley’s Palmetto Cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a choice of toasted white or wheat bread).
