Brew at the Zoo a Celebration of Food, Beer at Brookgreen Gardens
One of the must-see events of the fall is the Brew at the Zoo, presented by The Friends of Brookgreen Gardens. The event is being held at the Lowcountry Zoo on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. If you love beer, this event has your name written all over it. With more than 30 regional and national breweries in attendance, enjoy classics or discover new tastes over the course of the day.
If trying dozens of new beers isn’t enough for you, multiple different forms of entertainment are available throughout the course of the event. One of which will be the The Paul Grimshaw Band, who will be playing music for attendees to enjoy throughout the event.
You can’t have beer without a few friendly (or competitive) games, so there will be giant Jenga stations and Cornhole boards set up to play over a few drinks.
If all of the beer didn’t make this event seem perfect, then all the different food trucks certainly will. In attendance will be a variety of vendors ready to match your craft beer with their culinary creations. Beer and food trucks really are a match made in heaven.
For Brookgreen Gardens members, a ticket will cost you $40, for the General Public $40, and just $20 for guests coming as designated drivers. Each ticket purchase is a donation to Brookgreen Gardens and will go toward their many different philanthropic efforts. Space is limited, so get your tickets while you can!
