2016 Easter Celebrations in Pawleys Island

It's that time of year again! Easter is right around the corner, and now is the time to start planning your celebration schedule. If you're going to be in the Pawleys Island area during Easter time, be sure to check out the list below to help you plan out your holiday!

Easter Service at St. Paul’s Waccamaw United Methodist Church
Easter Service at St. Paul’s Waccamaw United Methodist Church

St. Paul’s Waccamaw United Methodist Church will be holding several Easter events this year. Traditional Easter worship will start at 8:45 a.m., Sunday School will begin at 10:00 a.m., a celebration worship ceremony will take place at 11 a.m., and another Easter service will be held at Lakes of Litchfield at 1:30 p.m.

The Town of Surfside will be hosting an Easter egg hunt at Passive Park, as well as a festival for kids in Fuller Park. This event is open to kids age 10 and under, and each child will get a prize. Participants are asked to bring a basket for their eggs. The kid’s festival will have rides, face painting, balloon art, inflatables, and more!

This event will take place on March 26, 2016 at 1 p.m.

Brookgreen Gardens' Member Only Eggstravaganza

If you’re a member of Brookgreen Gardens, then be sure to join them on March 26, 2016 for their Easter-themed celebration. This event will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will feature Beatrix Potter’s beloved characters like Peter Rabbit, Tom Kitten, Jemima Puddle-Duck, Mr. Jeremy Fisher, and much more. There will also even be a maze in Mr. McGregor’s Garden. If you get hungry, The Old Kitchen will also be serving morning snacks.

Admission is $15 per child and the event is open to kids ages 12 and under. Reservations are required and guests are asked to bring their own Easter basket.

On Saturday, March 26, 2016, join the Kaminski House Museum for their annual Easter egg hunt! From 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. In addition, there will also be Easter activities in downtown Georgetown including Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at the Best Western in Georgetown at 9, 10, and 11 a.m. There will also be a Easter parade on the boardwalk.

Join Webster’s Lowcountry Bar & Grill on Easter Sunday for a Easter buffet. The buffet will take place between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. and will include field greens with dressing, fresh fruit, she crab soup, assorted rolls & butter, prime rib carving station, honey glazed ham, herb roasted chicken, Mahi Mahi with lemon butter, mashed potatoes, seasoned rice, macaroni and cheese, southern green beans, fresh vegetable medley, and seasonal dessert display. The buffet is $24.95 for adults and $15.95 for children (3 and under are free). Also, don’t forget to attend the Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. in the courtyard!
