Landolfi’s Bakery & Deli
This quaint eatery with a loyal local following specializes in wood-fired brick oven Neapolitan pizza, made on their imported clay oven. In addition to the thin-crust pies, Landolfi’s also serves a variety of deli sandwiches, paninis, and desserts so good that people take to the internet to rave about them.
Paninis here are served on grilled homemade Italian bread, and options include the Campagnoli (roasted eggplant, peppers, prosciutto, crumbled gorgonzola), Genovese (chicken, fresh mozzarella, peppers, pesto), Greco (spinach, tomato, black olives, feta), the Pawleys Porker (wood-roasted pork tenderloin, peppers, provolone, balsamic), and a Reuben.
For pizza, guests can build their own with a nice variety of toppings, or choose from the list of Gourmet options. Highlights include the Pizza Bianco (mozzarella, ricotta, spinach, black olives, garlic), Tuscan Style (garlic, gorgonzola, mozzarella, pine nuts, marinara), and the Wood-Roasted Chicken (garlic, fresh spinach, aged provolone, sun-dried tomatoes, marinara).
The selection of Deli sandwiches is both basic and ample, featuring standards like an Italian, American, and Roast Beef in addition to unique items like the Landolfi (prosciutto, cappicola ham, genoa salami, aged provolone) and The Caesar (chicken breast, romaine, homemade Caesar dressing, shredded parmesan).
In true delicatessen form, the interior here has the feel of an Italian bistro, with warm wood and brick tones defining much of the interior space. There’s also a covered outdoor seating area with a fireplace for those who want to enjoy their meals in a semi-al fresco atmosphere.
