Heritage Plantation
Tucked away west of HWY 17 is the remarkable Heritage Plantation. Bordering the dark and beautiful Waccamaw River, this historic community has many interesting stories to tell. Clubhouse
Members of the Heritage Plantation community receive a handful of great amenities for themselves and guests to enjoy. The neighborhood clubhouse is host to an onsite, full-time property manager as well as an Administrative Coordinator to help residents with all of their needs. Other than the office, the clubhouse contains a fitness center, card room, party room, and conference center. It’s a versatile building that many residents take full advantage of.
Pool & Spa
Residents and guests are granted access to the wonderful pool deck. The deck consists of an immaculate swimming pool covered by a large pergola at one end. Golf
The Heritage Golf Club has an immense reputation, as it was ranked #33 out of the top 100 public golf courses by Golf Digest in 2011. The Dan Maples designed course offers a challenging and enjoyable experience for all levels of golfers. Also, a putting green and practice range are readily available to use. Within the clubhouse is a pro-shop and restaurant for the golfers to get their gear squared away and to refuel for the links. This is a course that golf-lovers dream of teeing off on.
Marina
The most notable amenity within the gates of Heritage Planation is certainly its immaculate marina. Located on the Waccamaw River, a portion of the Intracoastal Waterway, you can follow the river all the way to Winyah Bay and out into the Atlantic Ocean. The marina has a full-time dock master located at the dock house to help with all boating needs. A party deck was built over the water to offer a great location for gatherings of all sizes. With 40 boat slips across 4 floating docks, boats are welcome to stay on a day-to-day basis, or annually. Even dry storage is available. This marina truly offers wonderful services and provides comfort that every boat is safe and protected, allowing owners to worry about more important matters.
