Your Guide to the International Gullah Film Festival

The International Gullah Film Festival is an annual event that takes place each year in Georgetown, SC. This year, the TIGFF schedule is packed with movies, networking, and informational events that will help guests better understand the Gullah culture.

The 2019 TIGFF will take place on April 5, 7, and 12 throughout Georgetown. Here’s your guide to the 2019 International Gullah Film Festival:

Friday, April 5, 2019

•2:00 pm: The box office at The Strand Theater opens for the screening and Panel Discussion of “Green Book.”

•6:00 – 7:30 pm: We Network: TIGFF opening reception at the South Carolina Maritime Museum

Sunday, April 7, 2019

•4:00 – 7:00 pm: Free screening and panel discussion of “Beasts of the Southern Wild” at the Historic Howard Conference Center Auditorium.

Friday, April 12, 2019

•9:30 am – 8:00 pm: Screening of official TIGFF selections at Brookgreen Gardens

•1:30 – 3:30 pm: Guided tour at Hobcaw Barony (Call Lee Brockington at 843-904-9014 to reserve your spot)
