There are quite a few museums in historic Georgetown, but along the Georgetown Harborwalk guests will find the Kaminski House, which was built in 1769 and is filled with a large collection of American and English antiques. There is also the Rice Museum where guests will learn about the history of the rice crop in the Lowcountry. There South Carolina Martime Museum features exhibits dedicated to the history of South Carolina’s maritime history.

The surrounding area also boasts other historic attractions like the Georgetown County Museum, the Gullah Museum, the Bethel AME Church, the William Doyle Morgan House, the Stewart Parker House, and the Winyah Indigo Society Hall. 

Boating and Fishing

In addition to shopping, dining, and museums, the Georgetown Harborwalk also boasts a marina where visitors can enjoy boating and fishing. Those with their own boats may dock at the Harborwalk Marina for a fee, depending on how long the boat will be docked and how big the boat is.
