Restaurants Offering Thanksgiving Dinner Near Pawleys Island

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and it is always a special day! Spending time with family, saying “thanks,” watching parades and football, playing games, and eating tons of delicious food is always a great time.

For those of you who don’t have the time or energy to cook this year, and for those of you who may be visiting Pawleys Island on vacation, don’t fret! Below is a list of restaurants offering Thanksgiving feasts this year. Check it out:

Thanksgiving Dinners in Pawleys Island

Hanser House

Spend your Thanksgiving with family at Hanser House. The plated meal, which begins at 11 a.m., includes turkey, ham, cranberry sauce, three sides and dessert. Sides include all the traditional favorites such as green beans, mac and cheese, sweet potato souffle, mashed potatoes, rice and gravy, collard greens, and cornbread dressing with gravy. Dessert options are cobbler, key lime pie, pumpkin pie and brownie al a mode. Price is $19.99 for adults. Kids’ meals are available and include turkey, ham, two sides, and ice cream.

To-go meals will also be available and must be ordered by Nov. 23. They must be picked up between 10 a.m. and noon Nov. 26. Options include whole fried turkey ($40), 5-pound boneless slow roasted baked ham ($40), a variety of traditional and premium sides available in pint-sized ($7.50-8.50) or half-pan ($20-25) portions, and desserts available by the slice ($3.49) or whole pies ($20)

Local – Eat, Drink Celebrate

Local will be hosting “A Local Thanksgiving” with three seatings available on Thanksgiving Day. Dine at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. The all-you-can-eat meal will be served family-style and includes brined and smoked turkey, pineapple and brown sugar glazed ham, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, homemade cranberry sauce, crispy brussels sprouts, green bean casserole, candied yams, creamed corn and dinner rolls. Dessert is a choice of pumpkin or pecan pie. Cost is $24 for 12 and up; or $12 for ages 3-12.  

Get Carried Away Southern Takeout 

Get Carried Away Southern Takeout is taking Thanksgiving orders through Nov. 21. Get Carried Away offers a host of Southern-style sides to complete your holiday meal. You provide the turkey or ham, and let them take care of the rest. Sides are available in small, medium, and large sizes and include squash casserole, mac & cheese, cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, and green bean casserole. You can also buy breakfast casseroles, biscuits, pies, cakes and more!

Sides start at $10 for small portions. Biscuits are $10/dozen. Casseroles start at $12. Desserts are $22-$25. 

Pawleys Plantation

Pawleys Plantation will serve a plated Thanksgiving meal from noon to 3 p.m. on turkey day. 

The meal includes roasted turkey breast, black forest ham, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole, beet salad, and broccoli salad. Prime rib can be added for $6 per person. Desserts are apple pie and pumpkin pie. 

The cost is $18.99 per person or $35 for dinner for two. Reservations are required. Dress code is country club casual — no jeans or t-shirts. Call 843-237-6042 for reservations. 

Thanksgiving Dinners in Murrells Inlet/Garden City

Gulfstream Cafe in Garden City offers a full traditional Thanksgiving meal.

Gulfstream Cafe 

Gulfstream Cafe will be open from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day for a Thanksgiving feast that includes oven roasted turkey breast, sugar-cured ham, green beans, sweet potato casserole, sugar cured ham, cranberry relish, cornbread muffins, and much more.

Price is $22.95 for adults and $9.95 for kids 10 and under. 

Wahoo’s Fish House 

Enjoy an inlet view with your Thanksgiving Day meal at Wahoo’s Fish House. Wahoo’s will serve a traditional Thanksgiving buffet from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The menu includes roasted or fried turkey, honey baked ham, prime rib, inlet fresh catch, inlet fried shrimp, seafood gumbo and a variety of traditional sides. 

Price is $29.95 for adults, $13.95 for children 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. Reservations are recommended.
