Event Information: Catch the encore of Brookgreen Gardens’ incredibly popular Nights of 1000 Candles with the Light Up the New Year event. Guests will enjoy thousands of hand-lit candles and holiday lights along with live music throughout the sculpture gardens. 

Countdown to 2020 at the PIT

Where: Pawleys Island Tavern

When: 9 p.m. Dec. 31

Event Information: Ring in the new year at Pawleys Island Tavern with live music from the Craig Sorrels Project. No cover charge. 

Roaring Twenties NYE

Where: Wicked Tuna

When: 8  p.m. Dec. 31

Event Information: Wicked Tuna’s Roaring Twenties New Year’s Eve Party features dinner and drink specials as well at a costume contest. The best dressed duo will receive a $1,079 cash prize! Registration for the contest is 8-10 p.m., and the winner will be announced at the Tuna Shak just outside the main restaurant.
