This fine art gallery in the Village Shops of Pawleys Island is home to two dozen working artists from around the region. The collection inside is an ever-evolving representation of their collective work, with Lowcountry life standing out as one of the main themes: Oceanside umbrella chairs waiting on a beachgoer, shrimp boats resting in harbor, marsh life on a sunny day, a sea turtle floating by under the surface of the water. Island Art also hosts workshops for aspiring painters of all skill levels, with class lengths ranging from two-days to six weeks.
