Just off Kings River Rd, nestled along the Waccamaw River and draped in ancient oaks, the Ricefields community encapsulates Lowcountry beauty. It sits on top of Pawleys Island’s historic rice plantation and the history remains part of their heritage. This neighborhood offers an island time pace, as everything moves a bit slower due to the relaxed nature of the environment.

Amenities 

The neighborhood has a beautiful pool deck, fitted with lounge chairs, tables, and a covered section to escape the summer heat. The pool does close before the winter months, and reopens in April when spring weather begins to pick up. 

In the back of the neighborhood is a beautiful river walk to take in the local wildlife. Sightings of alligators, eagles, foxes, ospreys, owls and more are far from uncommon. Abundant oaks and other flora are all around as well, providing an incredible visual experience. 

A boat launch is situated along the Waccamaw River, allowing residents to put their boat in within the neighborhood. Quick and easy!

Ricefields residents are given great deals at both Caledonia and True Blue golf courses. The reduction in price lets you play for $55 to $85 depending on the season. The reduced rate is good for Ricefields residents and up to 3 guests!
