Along with public elementary, middle, and high schools, Coastal Carolina University (CCU) operates a satellite location for marine science studies in Downtown Georgetown and community programs at the Georgetown Education Center. Horry-Georgetown Technical College maintains a location in town as well.

Search Murrells Inlet Real Estate
Murrells Inlet is an unincorporated area of northeastern Georgetown County along the Horry County border in South Carolina’s Lowcountry. US 17 provides direct access to Myrtle Beach and Georgetown, both within a half hour’s drive. Locals and visitors alike appreciate the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk (the centerpiece of Murrells Inlet), Brookgreen Gardens (the oldest and largest botanical garden on the East Coast), and Huntington Beach State Park. Pawleys Island
As part of South Carolina’s Grand Strand just south of Myrtle Beach, Pawley’s Island represents the casual, laid-back barrier island charm of the Carolina coast.
