From the looks of things, dolphins are having the time of their lives pretty much every day, and Blue Wave Adventures in Murrells Inlet is ready to take you and your group out to see for yourself. Captain Mark Collins, a licensced U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Marine Officer, and Crew member Amy Collins, a certified scuba divemaster, have many years of experience working on and under the water, and have an 85% success rate at spotting the playful sea mammals. In addition to the Dolphin Watch, Blue Wave Adventures also offers a Pirate Island Adventure Trip, which takes adventurous explorers on an excursion to Drunken Jack Island, followed by a kayak trip through the surrounding marshes and creeks. The Dolphin Watch tours depart in the morning at 7:30, 9:30, 11:30, and sometimes 1:30 p.m. depending on conditions, while the Pirate Island Trip is available by reservation only.
