Round up the kiddos and head out to Thompson Farm for one of the kids drive in movie nights this October. Be sure to bring your child’s favorite ride-on toy or car as well as a blanket or chair for yourself. Admission is $9 per person. The movie schedule is:

- October 13: Hotel Transylvania
- October 20: Hocus Pocus
- October 27: Casper

Check out the Myrtle Beach Truck or Treat at Broadway at the Beach on October 14. This event, presented by the Sun News, will feature tons of cool trucks passing out candy to kids! There will also be a costume contest and other fun things. The event will have a horn-free hour from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. The event is free for all ages.

Thompson Farm will be hosting the Candy in the Corn Trick or Treat Trail each Saturday in October. Kids will love dressing up in their favorite costume and making their way through the kid-friendly maze finding treats! There will also be character appearances from Pippa the Pumpkin Princess, Willa the Witch, and more!

Find your best witch outfit and head out to the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk on October 14 for the Grand Strand Witches’ Night! Donations for raffle tickets are $1 and will be donated to the Childrens’ Recovery Center of Myrtle Beach.

Learn about the history and ghost lore of Conway by attending Conway Ghost Walks. These tours will be held on October 19-21 and will occur every 15 minutes from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tickets for the tours cost $15 for adults and $7 for kids 12 and under.

Experience three scary attractions at Dr. Scream’s Scare Park this October. The House of Blues will be hosting this popular haunted attraction from October 19-31, 2017. Guests will pay one price and get to make their way through Dr. Scream’s Fright Manor, Chuckles Twisted Circus, and Zombie Apocalypse.

Fun Warehouse will be hosting Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 26. There will be tons of family-friendly Halloween fun, including live entertainment, vendors passing out candy to kids in costume, character appearances, and more. This event is free!

Put on your best Halloween costume and head out to the House of Blues on Friday, October 27 for the Brews, Grooves, & Boos Halloween Bash. The event will last from 4 p.m. until you “drop on the deck” and will feature a costume contest, craft beer sampling, and live music.

Huntington Beach State Park will be hosting Huntington’s Haunted Halloween on Friday, October 27. Families will enjoy two haunted houses, and tons of other Halloween fun like games, movies, bonfires, and much more.

The 3rd annual Spooktacular Halloween Bash on October 27. There will be a costume party, flashlight fun in the corn maze, inflatables, family activities, a bonfire, and more.

Have a good Halloween laugh at Funny Fright Night at Uptown Theater. Audiences at this show will enjoy improve comedy with a fun Halloween twist! This show is for ages 13 and up and will be held on October 27 and 28th.

Join Ripley’s Aquarium for the Boo-quarium Bash on October 28. This event, which is free with paid admission to the aquarium, is great for the whole family. It will include a costume parade and contest, and other fun Halloween activities.

Round up your kids and your pets for BooFest! at Barefoot Landing on October 28. The event will include a costume contest for pets and kids, as well as live entertainment, activities, and more!

The North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex will be hosting the Howl-O-Scream event on October 28. This event, brought to you by the City of Myrtle Beach, is great for the whole family. There will be tons of Halloween fun including trick-or-treating, hayrides, scary and non-scary zones, and more. Admission is $5 per vehicle. There will be concessions for sale in the park. The event will take place from 5-8 p.m.

Join the Conway Recreation Center for the Conway Halloween Carnival on October 28. This family-friendly event will feature food, a costume contest, games, prizes, and more. Games are .25 to $1 per game, and there are all-you-can-play passes
for $5. The costume contest will be at 7:15 p.m., and there will be an outdoor
movie playing at 8:45 p.m.

Head out to Broadway at the Beach on October 28 for their annual Halloween Bash on the Avenue. This popular event will include a costume party, dancing, and tons of fun, with music from DJ Rich. The party starts at 6 p.m.!

Boogie down and get in the Halloween mood at 2001 Nightclub Spooktacular Halloween Bash! This event will take place on October 28 and will feature live music from the No Limit Band.

Treat your kids to the Spook-quarium sleepover at Ripley’s Aquarium for special Halloween fun! Dress your kids up in their favorite costume for the sleepover, and let them enjoy snacks, a scavenger hunt, crafts, a haunted aquarium walk, and more. Call early to reserve your spot, and pre-registration is required.

Dress fido up in his best Halloween costume and head out to Thompson Farm on October 29 for Toto’s Day on the Farm. This is a special event as it is the only day that pets are allowed on the farm! This all-day event is included with general admission.

Broadway at the Beach is hosting their annual trick-or-treat event for kids on Halloween night from 4:30- 6:30 p.m. Many stores will be handing out candy to kids in costume. There will also be Halloween fireworks at 8 p.m.

Celebrate Halloween on the MarshWalk this year. The Murrells Inlet MarshWalk will be holding their annual Halloween celebration for kids and adults on Halloween night. Trick-or-treating will being at 5 p.m. There will be a costume contest for kids and adults, and other fun things to do.

Spend your Halloween night trick-or-treating with the kiddos at Barefoot Landing. Participating stores will be handing out candy from 5-7 p.m.

Make your way to The Market Common on Halloween night and enjoy Halloween festivities from 5-7 p.m. Many stores will be handing out candy to kids in costumes, and there will also be other fun Halloween activities in front of Grand 14. Guests will also be able to enjoy free carriage rides!
