What started out as a small bakery on Georgetown’s Front Street has turned into an all-out market with three locations around the Grand Strand.

In addition to delicious baked goods like pies, cookies, cakes, breakfast pastries, and fresh bread, Kudzu offers pretty much everything you could need to throw a top-rate dinner party, including entrées, appetizers, sauces, wine, starches, cheeses, vegetables, and even utensils.

They also prepare each item so that it appears homemade, as opposed to the cookie-cutter method that you might find at the big box stores. And if it isn’t made on-site, Kudzu’s owners and staff have tasted the product to make sure they’re offering high-quality, great-tasting items.  

The current bread schedule features daily Buttermilk White Bread, Honey Whole Wheat, and French Bread, and fresh Cinnamon Raisin Bread is available on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

And with an ever-evolving, seasonal selection of goods, locals and tourists find themselves returning again and again to see what’s new at Kudzu.
