Flo’s Place is the spot to get the New Orleans experience right here on the Grand Strand! For over 34 years, Flo’s Place has been making locals and visitors smile with their delicious food and great atmosphere.
Once operated by Flo herself, this unique eatery is now run by Flo’s daughter, Deb Griffin and her husband, Ken Griffin. Keeping traditions alive, the food at Flo’s place is influenced by New Orleans cooking, along with a touch of Lowcountry seafood.
When you arrive at Flo’s Place, you are immediately greeted by friendly staff and a fun, unique surrounding that will make you think you are in the Big Easy. Once you are seated, open your menu and try to choose between several wonderful options.
For lunch, have a light soup or salad, or opt for one of Flo’s other lunch selections. These delectable items include shrimp creole, spicy shrimp ball marinara, crab stuffed baked potato, shrimp & scallops alfredo, and grilled sirloin. If you want to taste a true New Orleans dish, go for one of Flo’s PoBoys. Try the original shrimp ball poboy, oyster, blackened fish, crab cake, or popcorn shrimp. Tacos and lunch plates are also available.
The dinner menu is a lot longer than the lunch menu, and it will be hard for you to choose what to get because there are so many tasty options! Start with one of a number of awesome appetizers such as BBQ gator skewer, fried pickle chips, oysters diablo, fried green tomatoes, boom boom shrimp tacos, and more. Or, instead of an appetizer, try a bowl of alligator stew, red beans and rice, or a salad.
If you’re really hungry, opt for one of the signature dishes. Choose from shrimp creole, crab cake dinner, blackened fish, Flo’s favorite flounder, spicy shrimp ball marinara, red beans and rice, and a grilled seafood platter. Seafood, fried seafood, poboys, ribs, steaks, and surf and turf are also available.
If you’re hungry and looking for a good time, then come on down to Flo’s Place and treat yourself to a meal you will never forget.
