The Apache Pier, located at the Apache Family Campground, is a family-friendly place to visit while in Pawleys Island. This pier, also known as the East Coast’s longest wooden pier, is open 365 days a year and offers fun activities for locals and visitors to take advantage of.

Take a stroll along the pier for only $1 per person (kids 12 and under are free) to get a bird’s eye view of the beautiful ocean below. Throughout the summer, the pier hosts nightly live music, which ups the price to $3 per person, but catching live entertainment on the ocean is definitely worth the price. Kids can also have a blast playing around in the arcade! After your fun & relaxing visit, stop by the Apache Pier gift shop to grab a Myrtle Beach souvenier for yourself or your loved ones back home.

If you love to go fishing, then the Apache Pier is perfect for you. The pier offers daily and yearly rates as well as rental rod pacakges, discounted rates for kids 12 and under, and more. Enjoy a day fishing on the ocean while basking in the South Carolina sun and breathing in the fresh salt air. Also, don’t forget to take advantage of the full-service bait-an-tackle shop that sells night crawlers, cut mullet, and shrimp to help you score a great catch.

Hungry guests can stop by Croakers to grab a bite to eat or a cool drink after spending the afternoon fishing, or after playing in the sun. Parking at Apache Pier is $5.
