By By Emerson Dyer ˙ April 8, 2015

Some of the best eateries on the island will be participating in the 7th Annual Tastes at Pawleys Food Festival at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church’s Parish Life Center.

The all-star lineup of participating eateries for the April 26th event includes Austin's Ocean One, Bagel Café & Bakery, Bisqit, Bistro 217, Caffe Piccolo, Chocolate & Coffee House, DeRoma’s, Father Pat's Kitchen, Hanser House Restaurant, Hog Heaven, Litchfield Fish House, Moe's BBQ, Pastaria 811, Pawleys Island Bakery, Pawleys Island Raw Bar, Rustic Table, and Sabella's Italian Resaurant.

The restaurants will be providing samples of specialties like biscuits & gravy, shrimp and sausage risotto, tomato pies, jumbo lump crab cakes, prime rib, Italian meatballs, seafood chowder, chocolate mousse, hand-dipped ice cream, and lots of other great dishes.

Admission tickets are $4 in advance and $5 on the day of the tasting. In addition, individual food tickets will be sold in $1 increments, and attendees are encouraged to bring cash as credit cards and checks will not be accepted.

This event benefits Father Pat’s Lunch Kitchen, a local food kitchen whose goal is to feed the hungry and nourish the lives of community residents. Since opening in 2007, Father Pat’s has used proceeds from Tastes of Pawleys to serve over 80,000 meals to area people in need.
