Tastes at Pawleys 2016

By Marissa Polascak ˙ March 21, 2016

Join Tastes at Pawleys for its 8th year! The 2016 Tastes at Pawleys food festival will take place Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 4-8 p.m., at the Parish Life Center of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church in Pawleys Island. The festival will benefit the Father Pat’s Lunch Kitchen on the church property.

Previous Tastes at Pawleys festivals helped open the Lunch Kitchen, and since it was started in 2007, Father Pat’s has served over 100,000 meals! Each week, Father Pat’s helps serve over 300 meals to those in need in the Pawleys Island area. Over the years, Tastes at Pawleys has provided over $400,000 in donations to people in need.

Tastes at Pawleys is a food-centered festival that showcases several participating restaurants from the Pawleys Island area. Each restaurant will cook up their best dishes in order to impress the crowd, and those who attend can savor delicious meals, as well as sip on wine, beer, soft drinks, or water. This year, the following restaurants will participate in the event:

Austin’s Ocean One

Bagel Cafe and Bakery

Caffee Piccolo

The Chocolate & Coffee House

DeRoma’s Pizzeria

Hanser House

Hog Heaven Bar-B-Que and Raw Bar

Indo Thai

Litchfield Beach Fish House

Moe’s Original Bar-B-Que

N.Y. Pizza Kitchen

Pastaria 811

Tickets for Tastes at Pawleys will go on sale on Monday, March 28, 2016, and can be purchased during business hours at the Parish Life Center. Tickets will cost $4 for adults, and kids 12 and under are free with an adult. There will be tickets for sale inside of the festival in $1 increments for food tastings from each vendor.
