Tucked away in Pawleys Island is the quaint yet beloved restaurant of Chive Blossom Café. Open for lunch and dinner, this eatery is known for its eclectic menu that boasts modern twists on Southern, Asian, French, and Mediterranean cuisine. Guests here will find delicious dishes such as seafood, soups, beef, salads, and more, created by the owners, Paul Kelly and Trina Renualt.

The lunch menu at Chive Blossom Café features a variety of mouthwatering dishes. Being your meal with a sip, cup, or bowl of She Crab or Tomato Soup. Or, opt for a starter such as Housemade Pimento Cheese, Crab Nachos, or Chicken Liver Pate. After indulging in a small plate, move onto a lunch entrée, like something from the Chilled section of the menu. These refreshing options include Buratta, Chive Blossom Chopped Salad, Mango Gazpacho, Crab Slaw, Quinoa, and Watermelon Salad.

House Specialties include options such as Fried Green Tomato Napoleon, Okra Pancakes, Crustless Tomato Basil Pie, and more. Other entrée items include noodle dishes, and sandwiches like the Italian Roast Beef, Local Ahi Tuna Salad, Fried Green Tomato, and the Angus Burger.

While the lunch menu here is great, the dinner menu takes the cake with its unique offerings. Like lunch, you can start off your meal with soup, or choose a starter like Charred Octopus, Cornmeal Fried Oysters, Crab Nachos, Pan Sauteed Conch, Fried Chicken Livers, Shrimp Stuffed Medjool Dates, and more.

The dinner menu also has the same Chilled dishes, but the entrée selections differ. Dig into Cornmeal Crusted Flounder, Local Grouper, Fish Du Jour, Fried Seafood Sampler, 8 Ounce Center Cut Filet Mignon, Blackened Pork Porterhouse, Southern Boullabaisse, Wild Salmon, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, and Shrimp and Scallops. Noodle lovers will enjoy items such as the Spring Vegetable Orzo, Asian Noodles, and the Pennini with Shrimp.

Chive Blossom’s bar is home to a myriad of drink choices, ranging from beer and wine to liquor and crafted cocktails.  With your meal, sip on a cocktail such as the Cucumber Rosemary Gimlet (Hat Trick gin, cucumber, lime, rosemary infused simple), or the Chive Cup (Japser’s gin, blackberry & elderflower Pimms, San Pellegrino Limonata, and cucumber).

Whether you’re here for lunch or dinner, one thing’s for sure; you’ll absolutely love Chive Blossom’s delectable cuisine as well as the cozy Southern atmosphere created by carefully selected décor, accents, and paint colors.
