Celebrate Independence Day in style at the annual Murrells Inlet Boat Parade this year! The 34th annual Murrells Inlet Boat Parade will take place on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the Garden City Beach point at 4 p.m. The parade will run through the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk all the way down to the Hot Fish Club.

Each year, people flock to the boat parade either to show off their boat in the parade or to spectate the family-friendly event.  Participants in the boat parade will have a chance to win the prize for best-decorated boat! This year’s theme is “Rockin’ in the USA”.  Also, this year’s boat parade is being held in memory of Bob Hendrick who was one of the parade’s founders.

Some of the best recommended viewing spots for the parade are the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, Morse Park Landing, and the Belin United Methodist Church.

Want to participate in the Murrells Inlet Boat Parade this year? You can pre-register for $5 at Booty’s Outdoors, Marlin Quay Marina, and Garden City Realty from June 16 – July 1st. Last minute registration will take place one hour before the start of the parade as well.
