Cool Summer Evenings at Brookgreen Gardens

Cool Summer Evenings at Brookgreen Gardens

By Ashlee Carson ˙ May 24, 2016

After a day spent in the hot sun doing any number of great outdoor activities in Pawleys Island, it’s nice to find a place to cool down and relax. And while there are plenty of suitable places to do that indoors, finding some shade in a scenic place like Brookgreen Gardens can be even more rewarding.

For those who want to take in as much natural Lowcountry air as possible, the Cool Summer Evenings program at Brookgreen is a great way to keep the family entertained, see some of the area’s most serene sights, and explore the beauty of the Gardens.

If you’d like to enjoy dinner on the property, the Lowcountry Pavilion will be open until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to the shows, and picnics can be enjoyed at the Picnic Area near Jessamine Pond. No alcoholic beverages are permitted.
