Brookgreen Gardens' Nights of a Thousand Candles is one of the most anticipated events of the year. This year, the event will be taking place on December 1-3, 8-10, and 15-18, from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m.

For those of you who have not been to this annual festival in the past, Nights of a Thousand Candles is a spectacular multi-evening event in which Brookgreen Gardens is illuminated with over 5,500 hand-lit candles, as well as sparkling lights. In addition, guests will love the 80-foot-tall Holiday Fir, which will be embellished with over 60,000 lights. This tree will be lit during a ceremony each night at 5:45 p.m.

A special exhibit will feature hand blown sculptures by Conway Glass. These glass sculptures will be displayed in Anne’s Garden. Peggy and Mark Gaudreau are featured bagpipers you'll find roving throughout the gardens each night.

Tickets must be purchased in advance this year and only a limited amount will be sold for each night. Adult tickets are $14/member; $8 for member childre ages 4-12; $18/general admission; $10/child and free for ages 3 and under. Save money by purchasing your tickets now through November 30!
