May is the perfect time to visit the beach in Pawleys Island because the weather is just warm enough to go for a dip in the ocean, but not too hot to enjoy a day lying out in the sand. Whether you visit Huntington Beach State Park or you visit the quiet Pawleys Island beach, you will definitely love the warm sand, the beautiful ocean, and the sweet smelling salt air.

Head on over to Murrells Inlet and check out a new attraction called the East Coast BrewBoat! The BrewBoat welcomes up to 10 friends or family members to hop aboard and sit along a mahogany bar top while drinking beer and pedaling to make the boat sail through the inlet. Each cruise lasts about 1 hour and is BYOB (beer or wine). Don’t worry; if you get tired, the boat is equipped with an electric motor so you can safely get back to land.
