May is the perfect time to visit the beach in Pawleys Island because the weather is just warm enough to go for a dip in the ocean, but not too hot to enjoy a day lying out in the sand. Head on over to Murrells Inlet and check out a new attraction called the East Coast BrewBoat! The BrewBoat welcomes up to 10 friends or family members to hop aboard and sit along a mahogany bar top while drinking beer and pedaling to make the boat sail through the inlet. Each cruise lasts about 1 hour and is BYOB (beer or wine). Don’t worry; if you get tired, the boat is equipped with an electric motor so you can safely get back to land.
Brookgreen Gardens is beautiful any time of the year, but in the spring time when the flowers are in full bloom and the beautiful South Carolina sun is shining is one of the best times to visit.
